Our mother, Rosemary Sourwine Barickman, passed away in late December. My dad, my sisters, and Mom's friends and relatives miss her very much.
It's not easy raising four daughters, but Mom did this very well. She also supported my hardworking farmer father on the home front, too. Mom did a lot of volunteer work at our schools and led after school activities such as Camp Fire Girls. Mom made beautiful pottery, and her pots, bowls and vases are great momentos now. She collected dolls for us, small boxes, and shells, too. Mom did a lot of art with shells which brought her great pleasure. She loved playing bridge, cooking and reading.
Mom had a great, positive influence on her family and her friends. We miss you very much, Mom! We know you are at peace with the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior in heaven. Rest well!
